Rise to the Time has been formed in response to the Lord’s call to ARISE and shine in Isaiah 60 through 61. Our desire is to enhance the church’s ability to be a tangible expression of Christ’s love to a hurting world. Whether before or after disasters, we want to assist local communities as they rebuild by creating an ark of refuge. We want to be boots on the ground that communicate both needs and assets, facilitate teams as they serve and create deep and lasting Kingdom relationships. Through our partnership with Somebody Cares America and the Global Compassion Response Network (GCRN) we have also become a Somebody Cares Mobile Outreach center.
When crisis comes, it seems like everything suddenly is going backwards! It seems that times are dark and difficult. But as the Lord shows up and His Church connects with volunteers, officials and those in need, things begin to improve and the load gets lighter. Often, things end up better than even before! We pray that each of us can RISE TO THE TIME IN HIM!
