God’s people are AWESOME!
This afternoon the snow is coming down very hard in Staten Island! As Terry and I sit in the comforts of an office area working to help local pastors and leadership with logistics and administrative support, we are amazed by God’s AWESOME people! Not one person has allowed this weather to diminish their efforts as they race against time to help those impacted last week by Sandy and this week by the impending storm forecast to hit this region. When crisis comes, it seems like everything suddenly is going backwards! It seems that times are dark and difficult. But as the Lord shows up and His Church connects with volunteers, officials and those in need, things begin to improve and the load gets lighter. Often, things end up better than even before!
